Digital Audio Mastering and Editing
To prepare recordings for manufacturing or duplicating, we accept
recordings in any format; CDR, DAT, reel to reel, cassette, or
combinations.
We then transfer sound files to hard-drive for
editing and sequencing to your specs. Volume levels and equalization of
individual tracks will then be balanced and enhanced to make your
project sound as good and coherent (track to track) as it possibly can.
Good quality mastering is the secret of a solid professional sound
on your finished product. Many manufacturers apply a blanket
compression to a project to even out volume levels before
manufacturing. This is (usually) better than nothing, but real
mastering is done on a song to song basis to bring out the character of
each piece of the puzzle before balancing the project as a whole.
This takes a bit more time, but pays significant benefits.

CD and Cassette Replication
New Moon Records provides complete replication services for your project.
From short runs of CDs and cassettes done in-house, to larger runs of manufactured CDs and cassettes.
We also offer full photographic and graphics services. In this way, we can see your project through all phases of production and save you unnecessary time and expenses.
